Materials
Profile system
- The 173 Series: For glazed elements up to 60 mm gauge
- Facade elements as heat insulating aluminium systems, quality assured forge-produced in the press works
- Insulated spacers of polyamide, fibreglass reinforced
- Sliding profiles of aluminium and polyamide profiles (thermic sealing system)
Fittings
- Running and guide rollers of stainless steel, servicing-free ball bearings, double sealed
- Running rails of special stainless rounded steel
- Latching and locking facilities in stainless steel, partially plastic coated
Seals
- Patented air-lux special pneumatic sealings between the window framework construction and the sliding element; seals inflate on closing and the exhausting of the seals occurs on opening the casement by pressure key and compressed air system
- The insulation glazing mounted in the aluminium framework is sealed with continuous EPDM seals
Glazing / glass qualities
- Insulating glazing can be fitted to the air-lux sliding window casement system up to a glazed element gauge of 60 mm
- Energy-saving requirements can be addressed by the fitting of heat insulating and sunlight insulating glazing, with sound-proofing requirements as required
- The fitting of laminated safety glazing (fall protection, burglary-proofing), alarm activating glazing and even bullet-proof glazing (maximum element gauge: 60 mm) permit compliance with the highest security standards
- For the fitting of large surface-area glazing, the current U parameter at 0.7 W/m2K in triple insulating glass is normal. Depending on requirements and the correct selection of coatings and gas fillings, the U parameter can be reduced to 0.5 W/m2K
