Sliding window casements and window glazing

• Maximum element height 4500 mm (width restricted to 3000 mm)

• As a result of modular profile techniques, two-storey glazing is also available (details on request)

Weights

• Double insulating glazing:
  Standard parameter for the calculation of element weights (fixed and sliding window casements): 45 kgs per m ² .

• Triple insulating glazing:
  Richtwert für Berechnung von Elementgewicht (Fest- oder Schiebelement): 60kg/m ²

For a sliding window casement of 500 kgs to 600 kgs dead weight, air-lux recommends fitting an electrical drive. Depending on the construction of the insulating glazing, weights of 1000 kgs to 1500 kgs are possible – these can also be moved to and fro – with no servicing needed, thanks to the robust construction.
